Over the next six years, she worked for two major litigation law firms, focusing on insurance disputes, product liability and medical malpractice. She had a successful experience with them. However, she missed the non-metropolitan community, so she came to Rockford, where she spent another five years as a legal assistant and paralegal at a firm that also handled insurance disputes. Originally from Oregon, he moved to Tallahassee to attend Florida State University, where he earned a degree in biology.
