This is a special entry visa. With the combination Toegang en Verblijf – TEV (Entry and Residence Procedure), you can apply for an MVV and a subsequent residence permit. Your host can submit the application directly to the IND. How they need to do this depends on why you need a residence permit and/or MVV, for example for work or study. The IND website contains a list of documents that your host must provide. It also explains how your host can apply for your residence permit. Applicants who live in Thailand and wish to have their passport returned by mail to their home can make a payment for the envelope at the counter. Have you completed the application form?
