Those wishing to practise as a lawyer in Western Australia must meet the education and practice requirements set out by the Legal Practice Board of Western Australia. This procedure is called « admission » to the legal profession and involves a hearing before the Supreme Court (plenum). At the ceremony, you can take an oath or affirm your oath. A copy of your oath will be given to you on the day of the reading aloud.
