The Thomas Philip Internship Program is a practical program for Malaysian and international law students interested in pursuing a legal career in litigation or dispute resolution. We strive to give our articling students practical opportunities to put into practice what they learned in law school. Please apply with your updated CV, indicate your academic achievements and extracurricular activities, and indicate the start and end dates of the internship. Incomplete applications will not be considered. We believe that a rich and rewarding articling experience is an important first step in training well-rounded dispute resolution lawyers. The program emphasizes core competencies such as interviewing, ethics, communication, research, design, and advocacy. Our articling students work with lawyers in practice on real-world issues with clients and participate in court proceedings, hearings, appeals and client meetings as appropriate. Attachments and internships usually last a month. More or less long durations may be taken into account on a case-by-case basis.
